Ever wonder why these classic homes have two front doors? I do, too. Because Google holds all the answers, I threw the question into the search bar. It seems like the consensus is that the second door was to accommodate multiple generations of families living in a home (think The Waltons…Grandma and Grandpa could have their own door), or to facilitate subletting a part of the house for extra income. No matter the reason, it sure adds a lot of curb appeal!
